This project is based in Shepards Bush the works we carried out at this property include dismantling the chimney and supplying and installing stock bricks where required, the chimney was rebuilt using lime mortar and clay chimney pots.

We then began the process of dismantling the existing thrutone slates, roofing battens, felt and cement fillets as well as the existing skylights and dormas.

Our team then install breathable felt membrane and slating battens, this was followed by the installation of the tiles pictured which were Cupa Spanish slates and terracotta angle ridge tiles.

Cement fibre boards were required for the verges, and the roof was then dressed with lead step flashing along party walls and chimney breast as well as lead flashing along top edge of hanging slates.

We then carried out all the required timber works and re installed new Velux skylights as shown in the image below!

Finally 6 lead dormas were installed and all the correct repointing and maintenance works were carried out too complete the project.

The results are shown!

We are dedicated to our quality and our priority is keeping the heritage in the properties we install new roofs on, our client was left with a 20 year guarantee and security in the property over these cold winter months!
